Player Ranking

In (Riichi Mahjong) Ranking Mode, users are competing for NFT rewards, weekly Vault rewards, tier rewards, higher titles and level up competition access.

Air Path (Stakes-Off Mode): In this mode, players consume Aura to participate the match with an initial score of 25,000 following the match score calculation rules of Riichi Mahjong. Players can recover Aura from daily refill or Aura-feeding (by burning other NFTs). Players will have chance to accumulate active points (weekly rewards), earning Gatchballs and leveling up for their rankings which related to seasonal rewards.

East Wind & Two Wind

Two Wind players will have higher drop rate of Gatchball in Ranking than East Wind, so does the aura consumption requirement in Aura Path mode. The Winning points are calculated with higher flucuation in Two Wind Round game as well.

Match: Player will match other 3 similar skill level real people players in or close to their current tier level to play with and against each other.

Match Scoring: Players starts from 25,000 initial points in each matching game, with the goal of scoring at least 30,000. The in-game scoring will be determined by the value of han and fu two scoring factors. The han and fu are plugged into an equation to derive the value of the hand. Certain yaku are instead given a value of yakuman/double yakuman, the highest scoring hands. The detailed scoring rules are showed in games.

Tiers System:

Players earn Ranking Points when they win Ranking games and lose them when they lose Ranking games.

Ranking Points = Uma + (Final Score-Initial Score)/1000

Uma is s the set point spread applied to the players at the end of the game. The point spread uses 5-15, which means Uma for the 1st player is 15, for the 2nd place player is 5, for 3rd place player is -5, for the 4th player is -15.

There are 7 major tiers and 2 top tiers in Mahjong Meta Ranking mode:

Season: An official season last nearly 2-3 months in Mahjong Meta. At the end of the season, the rank results are tabulated and players will receive rewards based on their standing.

Direct Rewards: At the end of match, winners can have certain chance to get NFT gachaballs as rewards. Gachaball can generate NFT items including Fashion, Skill Card, Furniture, Jade, Aura Gem, Karma Gem and Refine Stone. All kinds of NFTs can be used in their own games to experience more fun of Mahjong Meta or traded with other players in the NFT marketplace.

Active to Earn ( MJM): In accordance with the platform's revenue distribution arrangement, players are able to claim rewards from reward pools for MJM on weekly basis. See details from Active Points System.

Tier Seasonal Rewards:

Players will have the opportunities to claim rewards at the end of each season.

Seasonal Prize-the Honor Rewards: At the end of each season, players will get their tier Honor NFT. The Honor NFT will display the player's rank in the previous season, which can be decorated in the player's Mahjong House in the game. Players in rewards lists (top positions) will acquire scroll through mail system after the season finished. Cosuming scrolls, players will get MJM and Honor NFT. The tier bonuses from governance token is from Reward Pool. At the same time, the scroll can be sold in the in-game market before being activated, players will get the listed amount of MJM on specific scroll, but the tier on Honor NFT is linked to players performance.
