The housing system provide premium experiences for players in Mahjong Meta.
Obtaining the House
Players can obtain a mahjong House through two methods: leasing or purchasing. For purchasing, players can choose the initial offering which happened only once or purchase second hand House on market place. For leasing, players can easily get unlimited public leasing house at the fixed price.
Availability of House
Players are able to rent the 1/2 stars house they would like on the community map in game. For purchasing house, players need to pay attention on new public sale/auction opening. And players always could buy second-hand House on Marketplace. In the future, we will open biding function for House, players may visit others' House, and leave a bid for your ideal House & Furnishings NFT.
Dynamic Rental Price
To balance the population of each district, a dynamic rental price system will be applied.

Auction Types
3 Stars House:
Vickrey Auction as the auction method for 3 Stars House, is a sealed-bid auction where the highest bidders win but pay the price of the second-highest bid. Each auction, there will be certain amount of House NFTs to be released. This method encourages bidders to submit their true valuation of the items, as they know they will only have to pay the second-highest price. Minimum starting price is 1000 MJU.
4Stars House
English Auction, a traditional ascending-price auction where bidders actively compete by raising their bids until no one is willing to bid higher, will be applied for 4 Stars House NFT. During releasing period, 4 Stars House will be listed in sales centre where players can find on community map in game. The auction time will be lasting for 4-12 hours for each item depands on the releasing plan. The starting price is 3,000MJU.
5 Stars House
Special auction will be used for 5 stars House releasing. The auction time will be 24-48 hours for each item. Players are able to join the auction with minimum 8,000 MJU starting price.
Unsold houses in each auction will not be relisted again, but goes to Treasury as public reserves for incentive special contributors to Mahjong Meta.
Specifications
The powers to activate the affixes of Furnishings are various depends on the rarity of the House NFT. Different Furnishing NFT cost different powers to activate. After powers are fully used, House owner is still able to place as many furnishings as possble in there room for decrative purpose.
Community
In Mahjong Meta, there are 27 communities where players can choose to establish their House. In the future, community performance in competitions, resident voting, and random welfare policies will affect the gaming experience of residents in each community. Players can switch communities by changing their lease (old rent cannot be refunded) or by purchasing a new house to blend in with the desired community atmosphere.

Joining the Community and Getting Welfare: There will be random and voted buffs among all communities. To get those benefits from a community, players need to join the community as part of the members first.
Passive NFT Trading: In the future, player's on-showed-Furnishing NFTs include House itself could be bid by visitors.
